Solving “the good problems”

Over the past few months RadioTime has been struggling with “the good problems”, huge growth consuming our capacity and compromising reliability.

The team has been working hard to upgrade our colocation infrastructure with better security, fault tolerance, and an application pool of 13 servers.

During the upgrade the service was down for a few hours as the team worked into early Wed morning. Some of the badges where down longer. We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience. The old systems have been handling hundreds of new listening sessions per second, the new ones can scale through many thousands per second. As important our application pools and load balancing will meet partner expectations for service availability.
