CNN provides coverage throughout the day from the Sonia Sotomayor confirmation hearings on Capitol Hill.  The proceedings begin at 9:30 AM Eastern.  You can get reaction from both the “left” and the “right” by following various shows on RadioTime.  Rush Limbaugh goes live on WABC at Noon Eastern and Sean Hannity follows Rush at 3 PM.  For a different perspective, tune to Air America with Jack Rice hosting from Noon – 3 PM Eastern and Ron Reagan hosting at 6 PM Eastern.

In sports, the Major League Baseball All-Star Game takes place in St. Louis tonight.  For a preview of tonight’s game and the latest information leading up to the game, tune into WXOS.

Music programming available today includes a live performance from Blitzen Trapper on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” at Noon Eastern.  At 1 PM, The Dead Weather hosts a special DJ set on WOXY.  Then, Diana Jones visits the World Cafe at 2 PM Eastern on WXPN.  A live performance from Newton Faulkner is featured on Absoulte Radio at 5 PM Eastern.  Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickenson looks back at 1982 in his “Masters of Rock” special on BBC Radio 6 at 7 PM Eastern.  Lastly, jam band fans will want to check out Thor Bendickson’s weekly “In the Groove” show on WMNF, airing tonight at 9 PM Eastern.
