Regina Spektor stops by the studios at KCRW for a live performance and interview as part of “Morning Becomes Eclectic.” The show begins at Noon Eastern. On WXPN at 2 PM Eastern, Dan Hicks joins “World Cafe.” Tonight, at 7 PM Eastern, BBC Radio 6 looks back at the life of Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett as they continue their documentary, “The Thing about Syd.” Fans of jam music can tune into Thor Bendickson’s weekly “In the Groove” show on WMNF at 9 PM Eastern.

In sports, two hot topics in baseball will be discussed on ESPN Radio this afternoon.  Colin Cowherd welcomes Jimmy Rollins of the Phillies at 1:40 PM Eastern. Rollins will surely give his opinion of the Phils’ attempts to acquire Roy Halladay from the Blue Jays. Also, Baseball Hall of Famer Joe Morgan joins “The Scott Van Pelt Show” at 2:30 PM Eastern. Morgan will likely give his take on reports that commissioner Bud Selig is considering a removal of Peter Rose’s lifetime ban from baseball.
