News coverage continues to focus on the confirmation hearings for Sonia Sotomayor.  CNN provides live coverage throughout the day.  Commentary is available on RadioTime from Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Jack Rice, and Ron Reagan.  Also, Larry King talks about Sotomayor tonight at 9 PM Eastern on CNN.  Larry will also discuss the latest developments concerning the death of Michael Jackson.

In sports, three-time Cy Young Award winner Pedro Martinez is close to signing a contract with the Phillies.  Follow the last news from Philadelphia and get the reaction to Pedro’s arrival from Howard Eskin at 3 PM Eastern on WIP.

Tune into KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” at Noon Eastern for a live performance from Foreign Born.  At 2 PM, Ben Lee stops by “The World Cafe” on WXPN for a performance and interview.  Then, at 6 PM, WOXY’s weekly show, “Artrocker Radio” hits the airwaves.  BBC Radio 1 airs the newest music as part of “BBC Introducing” at 7 PM tonight.  For jam band fans, “The Grateful Dead Hour” will be on tonight at 9 PM Eastern.  Then, hip hop fans will want to check out “Baller’s Eve” on East Village Radio at 10 PM.
