Roku next week will release an Internet radio channel across its line of streaming media players. The channel is powered by RadioTime, and was actually developed by a Roku and RadioTime customer working with Roku’s publicly available software development kit (SDK) and RadioTime’s Open Application Programming Interface (API).
The Roku RadioTime Channel adds access to over 20,000 AM/FM and Internet-only radio stations and more than 100,000 programs to Roku’s ever-growing library of multimedia content.
The channel will be available for free on June 1. For more info, check out: http://inside.radiotime.com/roku
