NASCAR Racing: Amp Energy Juice 500

Denny Hamlin’s win at Martinsville has pulled him within six points of Jimmie Johnson, tightening up the Chase for the Championship with four races left to go. This week, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels from the unpredictableness of a short track to the unpredictableness of a superspeedway: Talladega. While Martinsville didn’t shake up the Chase, the “big one” at Talladega certainly could.

Also, on Friday the NASCAR nation said goodbye to longtime vice president of corporate communications Jim Hunter who died after battling cancer. An integral part of growing the popularity of stock car racing, Hunter will certainly be a topic of conversation this weekend.
