TuneIn’s Weekend Wrap

by Michael McGeary

It’s Friday, the weekend is upon us, and hopefully you’ve got yourself positioned for a little rest and relaxation after a long week. Here at TuneIn, we’ve got a few suggestions to help you in that endeavor.

If you’re like me, I need my week in review to get perspective on the week’s events. But why not inject a little humor in the process? Peter Sagal, Carl Kassell and their weekly guests inject some levity into the proceedings each week on Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me! Record or listen to live stream starting at 11am Eastern from their home office, Chicago Public Radio, or grab the podcast from WBEZ.

Do you need a new book to read? Give a listen to Sam Tanenbaum, editor of the New York Times Book Review as he talks about some of the new books hitting shelves this week.

Maybe you just want to kick back with some great music. Try out WBGO in Newark for Jazz, Vermont Public Radio’s Classical offering or the Bay Area’s own Soma FM and their Groove Salad station for some downbeat electronic tunes.

And if your idea of a relaxing weekend is fist pumping the night away like Snooki and The Situation, we have you covered there too. Check out Atlantic City’s own Wild 102.7 and get ready for T-Shirt Time!

However you like to relax, TuneIn has more than 70,000 radio feeds from around the globe to help you enjoy your weekend. Did we miss one you can’t live without? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
