TuneIn’s Weekend Wrap

Spurred on by twitter follower @danirodriguezv, who told me on Twitter he couldn’t wait for some hot wrapness, let’s get right into the first “post-summer” wrap!

We would be remiss if we did not note the 10-year anniversary of one of America’s darkest days coming this weekend, as America and the world remember the fallen from the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. From New York to Shanksville, the Pentagon and beyond, millions will mark the occasion with remembrance services. TuneIn to CNN Radio for coverage all weekend long.

As we mentioned earlier on Facebook, in the UK this weekend, Bestival is ongoing with a diverse range of really cool acts. Everything from The Cure and Bjork headlining to Noah and the Whale, Crystal Castles, Katy B, Chromeo, Grandmaster Flash (how cool is that?), and a whole lot more. Bestival Radio is your resource for the best of the festival and they’ll be broadcasting all weekend long.

In sports, the NFL is back and you can catch all the action pre and post game with TuneIn to help you scout your favorite team, their opponents, or, and let’s be frank here for a moment, get your fantasy team set for all the action. Search by team or the NFL on TuneIn and find the best in NFL action. Meanwhile, down in the Land of the Long White Cloud, Rugby World Cup action is getting underway as the hosts New Zealand thrashed Tonga last night, 42-10. Games continue over the next few weeks, and Radio Sport NZ is your resource for the best in RWC action, leading up to the Final on October 23rd. TuneIn and find out if South Africa can bring home the William Webb Ellis trophy once again!

Wherever you are this weekend, make sure you enjoy it with TuneIn. Did we miss something you’re listening to! Be like @danirodriguezv and let us know on Twitter, or like the 8,000 of you who follow us each day on Facebook!
