This document includes special exceptions and rules for non-standard streams.
StreamTheWorld
http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/asx/CALLSIGN.asx
Don’t add an IP-specific entry because StreamTheWorld.com’s IP addresses change often. They use different URL formats and have different URLs for each station. Many stations also have alternate hidden URLs that do not follow that setup.
Assign a task or use e-mail to send a device-specific stream. Since RealPlayer and other players can now handle certain FLV and AAC streams, it may appear that the stream is working directly while you’re actually getting an HTTP streaming Flash or AAC file which will cause errors on devices.
The standard Flash or AAC types can’t be used because StreamtheWorld uses a custom stream and file format for Flash and AAC which will cause errors on many players.
Even when two provisioning URL’s appear to be wrapping the same URL, they’re not. They’re dynamic and change constantly depending on the settings. Both URLs need to be up.
RadioIO

Include MP3 and Windows Media streams. Don’t include 128K paid links.
BBC
Don’t touch BBC streams unless you’ve been specially trained. They use a complex set of rules and updates supplied by the BBC. Instead, send a request to support@radiotime.com.
GMG
Don’t touch GMG Radio streams unless you’ve been specially trained. They use dynamic ASX files based on user agents so only devices can access the streams.
Bauer
Don’t touch Bauer Radio streams unless you’ve been specially trained. They use dynamic ASX files based on location.
Garnier
URL’s that say Garnier Streaming Media should not be parsed under any circumstances since the IP addresses frequently change.
